1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of RepairKar. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to follow these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use RepairKar.

2. RepairKar services

RepairKar provides an online marketplace that helps customers discover and communicate with independent repair professionals. RepairKar does not itself provide repair services and is not a party to the service agreement between a customer and a mechanic.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and must notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Bookings and payments

Booking requests, prices, availability, and completion of work are agreed between customers and mechanics. You should review service details carefully before accepting a booking. Any payment terms shown through the platform must be followed by the relevant parties.

5. Mechanic responsibilities

Mechanics must accurately describe their skills, services, pricing, location, and availability. Mechanics are responsible for performing accepted work professionally and complying with all applicable laws, licenses, and safety requirements.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform, including by:

• Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against another user.
• Attempting to access another account or disrupt the service.
• Uploading unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

7. Content and communications

You retain responsibility for content you submit, including profile details, listings, messages, and reviews. You grant RepairKar permission to host and display that content as needed to operate and improve the platform.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

RepairKar is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, RepairKar is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of services arranged between users, or for indirect losses arising from use of the platform.

9. Account suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access when necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, enforce these terms, or comply with legal obligations. You may stop using the platform and request account deletion through the available account settings or support channels.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of RepairKar after an update means you accept the revised terms.
